The Wallacetown Agricultural Society was a recipient of an Ontario Trillium Fund Grant in the amount of $51,500 to improve Accessibility to all our buildings by portable ramps and upgrades to our Commercial and Cattle Barn Washrooms with Touchless Fixtures and accessible sinks. We are pleased to state that we have completed the funding requirements. Response from patrons of the fair were exceptional and all ramps and fixtures were well used. Pictured below is the ribbon cutting on one of our new installed ramps.

Pictured below left to right is Mayor Dutton Dunwich Bob Purcell, MPP Elgin Middlesex Rob Flack, President Ida McCallum, OAAS District 13 Representative Lauren Armstrong and Councillor Amarilis Drouillard.

Wallacetown  is a small community with big heart.  We pride ourselves in being a real home town country fair that has something for everyone.

Stan Duncanson ( pictured on the right) was lost to us on August 25, 2020.

Stan was a past president of Wallacetown Agricultural Society and past president of the Ontario  Association of Agricultural Societies and organized and called the races for many years at the local Fairs. He was very involved in the Community for many years. His committment to promoting agricultural awareness and guidance on the fairboard prompted the society to always further our agricultural roots.  He will be missed by many and we thank him for his service and dedication.
