Vendor Rules and Regulations:
****Proof of insurance in the form of a certificate naming Wallacetown Agricultural Society as an additional insured must be supplied before any acceptance of vendor
- Spaces are secured on a first come first served basis, once the contract, payment, and proof of Liability Insurance in the form of an insurance certificate or letter naming Wallacetown Agricultural Society as an additional insured from your Insurance Provider, for coverage no less than $2 Million. Insurance must be received at least one month prior the year of the current fair. If you need to purchase insurance, Wallacetown Agricultural Society has partnered through OAAS, backed by The Co-operators, Duuo insurance for our fair. - Vendors must set up and vehicles cleared by 2pm on Friday of the fair. Parking will be available on the track.
- Vendors must remain set-up for the duration of the fair. Any vendor found leaving early will not be invited back.
- Vendor Hours: (please note if food vendor and not serving breakfast items, 10 am opening is allowed. No vehicles will be allowed in after 8 am of the opening of the fair on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday – 5pm – 10 pm
Saturday – 9 am – 10 pm
Sunday – 9 am – 5pm
- No more than two vendor passes will be issued to each vendor. This will allow free access to the fair for the weekend. It is your responsibility to have this when entering. Vendors will have to pay gate fee if they fail to show their pass. One pass per one person allowed only.
- Tables are not provided.
- Please remember that this is a family fair and therefore no merchandise deemed unfit such as drug paraphernalia, sexually suggestive items, replica weapons, exploding products or foul-smelling products will not be allowed to be displayed or sold.
- If Hydro is required, it is your responsibility to bring a CSA approved extension cord. If an outside vendor – Extension cord MUST BE RATED for OUTDOOR WEATHER PROTECTIVE USE. Protective rubber MATS must be supplied by your business for safety reasons and Electric Authority Guidelines. All cords must be covered to provide safety for tripping hazards. All electrical equipment must pass fire and ESA Inspection.
- Please specify if using a Generator or specific plug for vendor use. Please specify is 15 amp (standard household plug) Limited plugs available for food booths. First come, first serve basis only.
- The Agricultural Society will try to ensure that like or comparable products are not promoted but reserve the right to allow all vendor applications.
- E-Transfer is available to . Please ensure the name of your business is accurately reflected and attached to the transfer.
